Account Information: Display name you provide at registration.
Gameplay Data: Entry history, game scores, streaks, achievements, session duration, and in-app actions.
Payment Information: Payment method type (e.g., Apple Pay, card). We do not store full credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account details. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device type, and referring URL for rate limiting and fraud prevention.
Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage events to improve the platform.

2. How We Use Information

To operate the sweepstakes, process entries, and determine winners.
To personalize your experience (streaks, levels, achievements, missions).
To process payments and fulfill prizes.
To communicate with winners about prize claims and tax reporting.
To prevent fraud, enforce fair play, and comply with legal obligations.
To improve platform performance and user experience.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

Payment processors (Stripe) to complete transactions.
Tax authorities (IRS) for prizes exceeding $600 as required by law.
Law enforcement if required by valid legal process.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, CSRF protection, JWT authentication, rate limiting, and input sanitization. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and fraud-prevention purposes. Winner records and tax-related data are retained as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting support@goldpot.com. Deletion requests will be fulfilled within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Children's Privacy

GoldPot is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA. Contact support@goldpot.com to exercise your rights.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
